Since Friday, we read up to Chapter 5 in
Animal Farm. Students
completed analysis charts for Chapters 1/2 and 3/4. We also went through
a couple of history lessons: one regarding George Orwell and Karl Marx,
and the other regarding Lenin and the Bolshevik revolution. Together,
we are gradually making comparisons between
Animal Farm and the Russian Revolution.
Students completed practice tests for "Romeo and Juliet" on Monday, which were submitted and handed back marked today - don't forget to study!
