Today we finished watching the video on ethical behaviour in the workplace. Students then filled out a checklist in which they had to rate their skills. After that, students worked in groups and brainstormed transferable skills attained from non-academic activities (sport teams, clubs, work, and volunteering). To end class, students picked 2 jobs (out of the following jobs: server, fast-food worker, sales associate, babysitter, camp counselor, and construction worker) and wrote out skills that could be attained from those positions. We discussed their ideas as a class.
