Today we reviewed Elements of Plot terminology, and read our first short story of the year, "Lamb to the Slaughter" (p.10 in Sightlines 9). We then discussed customs and roles of women in the 1950's, which helps explain Mary Maloney's character. We finished by completing questions and going over vocabulary.
