English 8

While I was away on Wednesday, students started watching the movie Pleasantville, which we continued today. After the movie, we completed a Venn diagram comparing the uptopia in Pleasanteville and the utopia in The Giver. Students worked in groups and we discussed some ideas as a class. After that, students worked on questions for Chapters 15-16 and silently started reading Chapters 15-16.
