Today we started off with ah lesson on complete sentences; then students had more time to work on their Animal Farm paragraphs. They will be due Tuesday. After that, we went to the library to get Sightlines 10 textbooks. Subsequently, I gave a mini-lesson on the history of La Violencia in Columbia, as it's the context for the story we discussed today: "Lather and Nothing Else". We will continue looking at the story next class.
