Also, due to some absences this week, I am pushing the short story test back until next week. It will now be on Wednesday, Oct 16, 2013.
Things we did today:
- Silent Reading
- Grammar (finished and corrected punctuation/quotations booklet)
- Finished watching "Armageddon"
- Read the article from "The Criterion" and talked about the importance of storytelling and elements of plot
- Discussed "Armageddon" and the elements of plot that makes it effective
- Time given to finish the plot analysis for "Armageddon"
- Started talking about the 4 types of paragraphs
