Today we read up to page 85 in
My Name is Seepeetza. We then did a 'Sorting Life Events' activity. Students were given different excerpts from
My Name is Seepetza -- they had to cut them out, and paste them into a T-Chart, classifying them as 'Life' events and 'Home' events. Students then wrote a response, explaining the environment that Seepeetza would have learned better. After that, students wrote a "I am" poem from the perspective of Seepeetza.
