English 8

We started a new unit today on folklore and oral stories. If you were absent, make sure to get notes on the different types of folklore. We particularly looked at fables today. We watched Disney's "The Grasshopper and the Ant" and "The Tortoise and the Hare". We also read both "The Moth and the Star"(fable) and "How the Opossum Stole Fire"(legend) in Sightlines 8. Students had a grammar worksheet and questions, but they were complete in class.
