- Re-cap: Innovations in transportation during the Industrial Revolution
- Worked on questions related to pages 140-142 in Crossroads
- Students presented their projects (inventions of the Industrial Revolution)
- Powerpoint and notes: The transformation from the "cottage industry" to the "factory age"
- Casey did a lesson on child labour and showed us a clip about children in the coal industry (she will be giving you a quiz tomorrow on her presentation)
- We talked about chimney sweeping and looked at a short clip from the movie "Mary Poppins"
- Watched 15 mins of a BBC video called "The Children Who Built Victorian Britain"
- Worked on questions related to pages 143-146 in Crossroads
