Students silent read Chapter 2-3 in The Chrysalids for the first portion of class today. I then went through important details from Chapter 1, and we watched a documentary explaining certain prophecies and the idea of Tribulation. David's community follows an ideology based on the 'true image' of God and the coming of 'tribulation', so we looked at other worldly examples of these beliefs. After that, students worked on questions.
