Today, students took notes and completed a worksheet on adjectives. Students also took notes on elements of short stories (theme and foreshadowing). We went over the questions for "The Veldt" and "Thank you Ma'am" and then headed up to the library to pick books for the Independent Novel Study. We spent the rest of class silent reading.
