Activities:
- I introduced and explained a project on the great inventions during the Industrial Revolution. Each student was assigned to a specific invention and they will present information about that invention to the class. We worked in the IT LAB on our research.
- Re-cap: Review the "economic revolution" in Britain
- Worked on a w/s: questions from Crossroads-p.134-139
- Watched an animation of Stephenson's "Rocket"
- Played 2 BBC interactive games: "Who wants to be a Cotton Millionaire" and "Mucks and Brass"
- Powerpoint and notes: Britain's agricultural revolution
- Completed a worksheet on crop rotation
